3 years old: She looks at herself and sees a princess!
8 years old: Still looks at herself and sees a princess. She imagines that she’s Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty.
15 years old: Life is changing. She looks at herself and sees herself as a rockstar or Cheerleader. But sometimes she sees Fat/Pimples/UGLY (I can’t go to school looking like this!)
20 years old: The negativity creeps in. She looks at herself and sees “too fat/too thin, too short/too tall, too straight/too curly” – but decides she’s going anyway.
30 years old: She’s too busy. She looks at herself and sees “too fat/too thin, too short/too tall” – but decides she doesn’t have time to fix it so she’s going anyway.
40 years old: She’s starting to let go. She looks at herself and sees “too fat/too thin, too short/too tall” – but says, “At least, I am clean and goes anyway.
50 years old: Life is changing again. She looks at herself and sees “I am” and goes wherever she wants to go.
60 years old: She has a laugh, looks at herself and reminds herself of all the people who can’t even see themselves in the mirror anymore. Goes out and conquers the world.
70 years old: The flip side! She looks at herself & sees wisdom, laughter and ability, goes out and enjoys life.
80 years old: And finally, she doesn’t bother to look. Just puts on a purple hat and goes out to have fun with the world.
